Favorite Bible Verse and Why?

It's always hard to chose a "favorite" bible verse since we can resonate with the whole bible but one in particular that has helped me be more content in Gods promise and love is Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not in your own understanding; In all ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." NKJ. This verse specifically because through my walk with the lord I have learned that everything I do needs to be surrounded by him and not the other way around. I have lived parts of my life wanting to hold onto some controls of my life just to find out I was never meant to control any of that which resulted in confusion and uncertainty. But the moment I started to live out that verse by surrendering everything to the lord and fully trusting him in everything is the moment he started to reveal his path for my life. Emphasizing "his" path not mine and now I know it's either his way or is there is no way. He comes first, always.

Favorite Bible Verse and Why?

My favorite bible verse is Proverbs 4:23 "Above all else guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." because it is important that we all guard our hearts especially from worldly things, everyday people will try to deceive you and your faith and I think this verse shows how important it is to stand firm in our faith and not go astray.

Favorite Bible Verse and Why?

Psalms 51:16-17. David, a man after God's own heart, continuously cried out to God after he fell to sin. At his lowest, he repented and sought God's unending love and mercy before anything else. The Lord's power is often found in the toughest waters and the Lord has always heard and seen me at my lowest. He doesn't require any special sacrifice or for you to be "fixed" before coming to him, he just wants your heart, right where you are. He is a God that is with you through the hills and valleys.

Favorite Bible Verse and Why?

My a favorite bible verse is Isaiah 43:2 "When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you." This is my favorite verse because no matter the circumstances we find our selves in, God is right in the middle of it all.
